I was so very honored when the co-founders of the incredible non-profit organization The Turning Heads Project approached me to help build their website. The organization is dedicated to changing perceptions of people undergoing cancer treatment by providing free photo shoots to any person who has lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy treatment. They needed a website that would not only act as a platform for showcasing their beautiful photo sessions, but also perform the important task of connecting with a wider audience, encouraging donations, and promoting this worthy cause. I built them this custom child theme for the Genesis framework for WordPress, and Turning Heads Project got a gorgeous website that met their needs and showcased their important work with cancer survivors.
